Effective October 4, 2026
Wild is made by Hungry, Foolish ("we", "us"). These terms cover the Wild apps for iPhone and Mac, the servers we run to support them, and this website. Together we call these "Wild". By using Wild you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.
You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age to consent to online services where you live, if that is higher. You must be allowed to use Wild under the laws that apply to you.
Wild lets you message, call and share files with people you choose, directly between your devices and theirs. There is nothing to sign up for: your account is a key that lives on your devices. We don't host your content and can't see it. We run a relay and a push notification server that help devices reach each other. The Privacy Policy explains what those servers see.
Your identity in Wild is a cryptographic key created on your device. We never have it. That means:
Everything you create or share in Wild stays yours. We claim no rights over it, and it never passes through us in a form we can read. You are responsible for what you share and for having the right to share it.
Sharing is giving. Once a contact's device has received something from you, they have a copy, and deleting it on your side does not delete it on theirs. Share only with people you trust.
You choose who your contacts are. We don't review, moderate or vouch for anything people send each other, and we couldn't if we wanted to. If someone sends you things you don't want, remove them as a contact and your devices will stop accepting messages, files and calls from them.
You agree not to use Wild to:
The relay and the push server are provided free and on a best-effort basis. They may be slow, unavailable, changed or shut down at any time, without notice. We may limit or block any device or key that abuses them or puts them at risk. Because your content lives on your devices, losing access to our servers does not take your data away.
Wild relies on services we don't control, including Apple's push notifications and the public relays and discovery service run by n0. If you connect Wild to storage or a server of your own choosing, that provider's terms apply to what you put there. We are not responsible for services run by others.
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the Wild apps on devices you own or control, for as long as you follow these terms. The apps, the name Wild and its icon belong to us. Apart from that licence, these terms give you no rights in them. We may update the apps, change features, or stop offering them.
Wild is free and provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We don't promise that Wild will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, or that your data will not be lost.
To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of Wild. Our total liability for any claim relating to Wild is limited to fifty US dollars (US$50).
Some places don't allow some of these limits, so parts of sections 10 and 11 may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have by law that can't be waived.
You can stop using Wild at any time by deleting the app. We can't delete your identity or your data, because we don't hold them, but we may refuse our servers to anyone who breaks these terms. Sections 4, 10, 11 and 14 continue to apply after you stop.
These terms are between you and us, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Wild or its content.
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a term, that doesn't mean we've given it up. These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between you and us about Wild.
We may update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top, and if the change is significant we will say so in the app or on this site before it takes effect. If you keep using Wild after a change, you accept the new terms.
